Therefore, Training and Placement (T&P) was set up with a view to provide necessary impetus to launch our students into the real world where
cut-throat competition is the order of the day. It plays a vital role in finding suitable job opportunities for students and at same time tying up with
industries and professional organizations for fruitful and mutually beneficial linkages.
Training and Placement Activities:
- Facilitate training, arrangements for live projects and providing placement assistance to its students
- Ensure an active interaction with the industry by organizing guest lectures and seminars
- Invite professional trainers to enhance the soft skills and technical skills of the students
- Arrange for personality development sessions, career development programs
- Conduct interview technique program for students to perform better in the campus recruitment process
- Organize various technical, non-technical programs for faculty members to make the teaching-learning process more effective

Important Training Activities:
- Student Development Programme (SDP)
SDP is a one week dedicated programme arranged during the semester break for enhancing students’ technical knowledge & soft
skills and prepare them for campus placement. This is followed by regular programmes during semester
- Seminar/workshop
Large number of seminars/workshops are arranged every semester to update students with current needs and challenges in industry
- Personality Development Programme
To prepare students for professional career (at corporate) after successful completion of the course.
- Industrial Visit
To familiarise students with industrial environment which they are likely to pursue after completing their course successfully
